The AGCThe AGC exists to promote the application of geographic insights and analysis in all areas of society, including (but not limited to) applied climatology, business & economic geography, crime, geographical information science, geomorphology, geospatial analysis, health & medical geography, military geography, remote sensing, policy & planning, resource geography, and urban issues.
The AGC offers two primary venues for applied geography education, communication, and networking. Our annual conference, held every fall, is an opportunity for practitioners, academics, and students to share research and application ideas. Our peer-reviewed journal, Papers in Applied Geography, is the conference's official publication covering research and commentary across all areas of applied geography.
