Specific conference features to anticipate include:
- As usual, a wide range of stimulating paper and panel session opportunities will bring together practitioners and researchers from across the spectrum of applied geography.
- AGX is working to build another great student competition opportunity for students to display their geospatial skills and knowledge
- Our signature reception networking events will continue online, providing an excellent chance for conference attendees to build new collaborations and meet old friends.

AGX Conference Instructions

- Computer and Browser requirements
- Computer connections must have cameras and microphones
- Browser recommendations are the latest versions of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
- The latest version of Zoom is required to participate in conference sessions
- All registered participants will be sent an email with instructions on how to log into the conference.
- The conference will be held via the Zoom platform. Please be sure that your computer and internet access are sufficient to stream the conference.
- Each session is 1h 20m in length.
- Paper and poster sessions have allotted 20 minutes for each presenter
- Please have all visuals (PowerPoints, PDF’s, recordings) ready at the time of your session. You do not need to submit your presentation in advance. You will screen share during your presentation.
- Panelist allotted time will be determined by the session organizer. Please confirm panel structure with the organizer.
- Workshop and round table sessions. Please ensure that any material that participants need is available at the time of the session though a link you provide.
- Each session between 1h 20m and 1hm 40m in length. The expectation is that all students will remain for their entire session.
- Paper and poster sessions have allotted 20 minutes for each presenter.
- The poster session is organized as an illustrated poster session. Please be prepared to speak to your findings.
- Please have all visuals (PowerPoints, PDF’s, recordings) ready at the time of your session. You do not need to submit your presentation in advance. You will screen share during your presentation.
