The AGC welcomes abstract submissions for our AGC 2020 online conference. Anyone interested in the advancement of applied geographic research may submit an abstract for presentation at the AGC 2020 meeting. Please use the following guidelines to create and submit your abstract for program review:
- AGC is accepting papers and posters for presentation consideration at our AGC 2020 online conference.
- An abstract must be submitted for all papers and posters intended for presentation at the conference.
- All submitted abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance or rejection.
- AGC's sole reason for rejecting any abstract is advocacy in favor of racism, sexism, or harm toward any person or people group. AGC actively promotes a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- The abstract submission deadline for AGC 2020 is August 31, 2020.
- Only those submitted abstracts with at least one fully-registered author for the conference will be accepted. Abstracts can be submitted, but they will not be fully accepted until the registration of at least one author has been verified. Abstracts associated with author registrations that are not completed and paid for by September 18, 2020 will be deleted from the conference program.
- Authors must use the same email address for both abstract submission and conference registration to facilitate registration status verification for all abstracts.
- Each conference registrant is limited to one abstract submission as first or presenting author: one paper or one poster ONLY per conference.
- The abstract body must fall within a 200-word length limit.
- For student competition entries only (papers and posters): all student competition submissions must be the original work of the student presenter - no dual authorship with non-students.
- AGC reserves the right to limit the number of abstracts accepted for presentation at this conference.
