Health and the Environment - Paper Session
Primary Session Organizer: Kari Northeim, University of North Texas
The geography of environmental indicators and health is complex and dynamic. Understanding spatial variability in exposure risk and associated health outcomes requires the use of new data sources and the development of novel methods for analysis. This session comprises of papers that focus on methods to map environmental indicators such as air pollution and to assess their impact on human populations. This research seeks to promote the importance of spatial perspectives, including scale, in environmental health.
