TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
If you are flying to AGC 2018, the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport has a helpful website pointing to many useful flight and travel resources. In particular, see the airport's Shuttle & Limos page for ground travel suggestions to get you between the airport and the AGC 2018 conference headquarters at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.
Also, it is worth remembering that our conference hotel does offer on-site parking ($10/night with hotel room) for those who are driving to the conference.

STUDENT COMPETITION: CALL FOR JUDGES
This is a first call for judges for the Applied Geography Conferences (AGC) Student Paper and Student Poster Competitions.
The 2018 AGC Student Poster Competition will be held on Thursday, 1 November from 8:00am – 12:00pm. The AGC Student Paper Competition will be held on Thursday, 1 November in two sessions (10:15am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 3:30pm). Professional and Faculty judges from all sub-disciplines of Geography are needed to evaluate and score poster presentations and 20 minute oral paper presentations. Each presentation requires several judges, so we are looking for a lot of help! Your time will be well spent – it is inspiring to see the impressive work occurring by the up-and-coming generation of applied geographers. If you are able to serve as a judge, please email Brandon Vogt ([email protected]) and Clayton Whitesides ([email protected]). Be sure to include in your email your availability and willingness to judge the poster session and/or the paper sessions. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Judging schedule and judging rubric sheets will be provided at the conference registration table. Additional information can be found at http://www.appgeogconf.org/student-competitions.html.
